The wood porch swing pieces are hand dipped 4 times in top-grade, weather-resistant polyurethane marine grade varnish to give them a luxurious look and tremendous durability. Chain assemblies are galvanized to prevent rust. Tree hooks are included for easy, versatile hanging. Three layers are joined to create the signature 3-ply rope. DuraCord colored ropes: DuraCord is the answer to a long quest for a rope that is as soft as cotton but as durable as polyester. With durability in the outdoors comes long lasting comfort and color. DuraCord is woven of yarn that has a ultra-violet (UV) protection package to withstand 2,000 hours of UV exposure while resisting the degrading effects of the sun and rain. DuraCord rope also dries faster than standard cotton or polyester. DuraCord extends the life of the hammock, as its materials are designed to resist mold or mildew.
