Austrian actress Nadja Tiller was born into a modestly famous theatrical family. Starting out as a model, Tiller won the Miss Austria contest, which turned out to be her ticket into filmmaking. American audiences of the early '50s had a preconception that European actresses were somehow more sensuous and erotic than their Hollywood counterparts, and Nadja did her best to confirm this assumption.
