The first strategyoriented football game on home consoles, NFL Head Coach utilizes the developer’s Madden NFL graphics engine to simulate the daily trials and tribulations of a usercreated coach. After interviewing for a position with a favorite NFL team, players will be expected to assemble a winning program through drafts, trades, free agency, and more. Before each game, playbooks must be examined and modified, team strategies must be set, and rival teams must be analyzed to expose potential weaknesses. Coaches will also need to motivate their star athletes to perform to the best of their abilities, meet with agents and staff members, and oversee training camp.     A football lovers dream

    NFL head coach is a very good game to have. It is very realistic in its gameplay style and allows the user to make the decisions on who plays, what plays to call on game day, and who on the staff (your teams coaching staff) you keeep or fire. This ga...me starts off after the '05-'06 season, a month or so before the '06 draft. You basically control the destiny of the team that hires you, and if you screw up...well, you lose your job, that's all there is to it. I actually own this game, and have played it numerous times, so much in fact that I lead the Houston Texans to the playoffs with Matt Leinart as the starting QB! Also the New Orleans Saints I lead to three super bowls in a row, won 8 with the Rams with Deion Branch, Reggie Wane, Michael Strahan, and a bunch of other big name players. This game is somewhat realistic in its style of play, but you can draft any players you want, of course as long as they fall to you. This is a very good game. Read more Less
