Are people totally mindless?
Pros: Acting?
Cons: It is a horrible movie!
I will start by saying that Unforgiven is arguably the best movie ever made, so I am not short on appreciation for Clint Eastwood's directing abilities, and the 3 stars are all at the head of the class for acting.
But what the hell is the message here, Clint? This is absolutely horrible! Are we preaching total disregard for morals? The speech at the end by Laura Lineey (another very good actress) is one of the most ass-backwards displays of reason ever captured on a movie screen! Her husband, the King??? Give me a break! And Kevin Bacon is what, a cop when he feels like it? Horrible excuse for a movie!
What boggles my mind more than anything else is how people can eat this stuff like candy. I get the very distinct impression that most of the people and critics who praised this movie fall into two categories... 1) those who feel some need to blow smoke up Clint's ass... 2) those who are so braindead that are incapable of forming their own opinion, so they ride withWas this review helpful?
