Pros: Direct from her memoirs she wrote while in prison.
Cons: None
I highly recommend this book for anyone interested in Bonnie & Clyde. Blanche tells her story the way she saw it while she was on the run with her husband Buck Barrow, Clyde Barrow and Bonnie Parker. John Neal Phillips did an excellent job of refelecting the era as you read her story. She was not the screaming maniac as portrayed by Estelle Parsons in the movie "Bonnie & Clyde". There is so much more to Blanche than was ever given credit. If a story is worth telling then it should be told right. This book does it right and helps you get to know the real Blanche Barrow and what an interesting person and story she had. You become emotional involved and find yourself reading it over and over and thirsting for more.
