But he quickly bores of life in middle-class America and starts up his own little racket. These shenanigans cause Vinnie to run afoul of the local authorities, which makes life difficult for the straitlaced FBI agent (Rick Moranis) assigned to protect him. Soon the agent is struggling to keep Vinnie out of the clutches of a tough-as-nails assistant D.A. (Joan Cusack) who wants to see him behind bars.

    A real funny Sunday-afternoon-with-a-b
    eer movie. Not like a Danny DeVito flick, that is funny too, but you need to pay more attention to the DeVito movie, maybe. This is a no-brainer, which was fine with me. Stars the Wild And Crazy Guy himself. M...y favorite part is where he takes the price gun and marks down all the meat. Read more Less

    Just one small point noticed in this excellent movie. A ball park made specifically for little leaguers actually has the mound situated for little league pitchers, and you don't have to pitch from off of the mound. We actually had one in Daytona Be...ach, Florida on City Island. I think that the producers couldn't find a real one. A fun movie with no profanity. As appealing as Wayne's World I and II. Five Stars. Melanie Mayron was very appealing, and the merenge dance sequences were worth seeing just for themself. Read more Less
