    Pros: very inexpensive

    Cons: feels like a toy

This DV camera works pretty well. It's great for shooting video and sending it out via email. I don't think I could make a quality DVD with the video resolution. The digital still quality is good especially considering the price of the unit. ...I bought it because I was doing some outdoor activity and didn't want to have to worry about breaking one of my more expensive cameras. I know Mustek is coming out with a DV camera that will have 640x480 @ 30 fps very soon. I will most likely be buying that one due to the better video resolution. Read more Less

    Pros: Inexpensive; lightweight

    Cons: Small screen; immoveable viewer

Got this for my daughter to take quick, impromtu videos of friends and activities. It satisfies that requirement easily. However, takes poor shots indoors without ALOT of light and, due to small viewer, it is difficult to see what is being viewed. It... is easy to hook up to a tv for reviewing the videos, and it is pretty easy to use. She loves it. Her main complaint, however, is the immoveable viewer. That simple update, as well as the capability to hook up an aftermarket light (for indoor shots), would make this a great camera for older kids, or those that just want a video camera for minor jobs.
