Mizz Mariah has done it again. Her Incredible vocal quality and writing abilities shines through each and every song. She changed the formula just a bit, but it works. The LaFace track "I'll Never Forget You" is a sweet collaboration with the multitalented Babyface. A sound proven fruitful. The Clivilles and Cole tracks worked very well. Her ballads are powerful and believable.
Dream Lover was a perky jumper with her nursery rhyme lyrics which works. "Hero" stands out as one of her more empassioned anthems. An anthem of strength and nobility. "Anytime You Need A Friend" is a classic number in believing in the power of your friends. "Just To Hold You Once Again" is a heart scorcher. "All I Ever Wanted" is a sleeper and a heart wrencher. "Without You" is very much empassioned and beautifully orchestrated. If you want a cd full of love, vulnerablity and affirmation, cop dis cd. Grade: A+Was this review helpful? Yes - NoOh,yeah

Mariah Carey's 1993 CD is one of her best works to date. "Music Box" takes her to a higher level of singing, performing, songwriting and producing. It is in this magnum opus where she first experimented the R&B sound that will be evident in her future releases. She teams up with Babyface on the track "Never Forget You" and sampled the sang "Blind Alley" on the #1 smash "Dreamlover". "Music Box" even exposes Carey's romantic side with ballads like "Hero", "Anytime You Need A Friend" and her remake of the classic "Without You". All of the 10 tracks on the album are worth gold since all of them are potential singles. Even though the dance tracks "Now That I Know" and "I've Been Thinking About You" were never commercially released, "Music Box" proves to be even better than her 1991 disc "Emotions". In other words, "Music Box" is one album worth treasuring for a lifetime.

Although it was sold more then 10 mln. copies it is not her best. Cole and Clivillas made very good job for her tracks such as Now that I know and I've been thinking about you. There are too many ballads, but Hero has a wonderful massage, yes it is really good song.

This is my less favorite Mariah Carey album. It wasn't new, but it contained very good dance songs like Dreamlover ,Now that I now and I've thinking about you.

There was nothing wrong with ths album it has a more cleaner and much wiser Mariah,even a more beautiful side of her.of course the critics put her down because of her marrying Tommy Mottola.cmon people stop being jealous,the guy made her into a star get over it.what a fabulous album.recommended!!!!!

Mariah, not only has been classified as the most successful artist of the decade, but she has brought us some of the greatest original ballads as well. If you take the time to listen to each album, you will find it's hidden treasures. Songs like, Vanishing, Anytime You Need A Friend, All I Ever Wanted, All in Your Mind, you'll realize this diva commands R.E.S.P.E.C.T.

It was the second time she did it.When everybody was waiting third houston album she appeared and she bought what Whitney had bought.When everybody wants another I´ll always love you,she sings Whithoutyou,she´s illegal.
