Like I said in a review of Nate's first album, its aiight I geuss, but I wouldn't call this a classic or anything. After a while Nate's voice can get pretty damn annoying if you are used to hearing real singers a lot. Compare him to someone like Al Green or Marvin Gaye and you'll see what I mean. But this CD is tight, don't get me wrong, the beats are off the hook and are ultimately what saves this CD, along with the good choice of geust rappers, which include Kurupt, Snoop Dogg, Xzibit, Dr. Dre, and Pharoahe Monch (sorry but I'm not a big Ludacris fan) I do think this CD is worth the money so go ahead and get it, cause the beats will sound tight if you got a proper stereo.

Nate Dogg gives rap music a good name with this release. Its a shame that his last cd from 1998 really sucked, i mean two good songs from 2 cds. This follow up is very good. The strong tracks are "I got love" keep it gansta with Lil' Mo and Xzibit and I pledge allience with Pharoahe Monch. I suggest you check out Pharoahe Monch, i think he is one of the most talented rap artists except he really dosent have a big commercial but does work with other people who do. He most famous song is called "Oh no" with of course Nate Dogg and Mos Def. He would be the second verse in the song. Overall this album is awsome, the only crappy songs is back door, other than that, great

This is a tremendous album. From beginning to end there are no weaknesses. The album begins with 3 straight bangers. Beginning with the jazzy Fender Rhodes driven "I Got Love" followed by the sweet flute and fluctuating bassline banger "Backdoor". The third consecutive banger is the sinister trunk rattling "Keep It Gangsta". The production throughout is solid with tracks by Bink, Dre, Mel-Man, Battlecat, Mike City, and Fred Wreck. There are plenty of appearances with Xzibit, Lil Mo, Dre, Pharoahe Monch, Jermaine Dupri, Kurupt, Snoop Dogg, Ludacris, Tha Eastsidaz, Fabolous, and B.R.E.T.T. making excellent contributions. Even the smoothed out production from Mike City on "Another Short Story" fits nicely among the westcoast influenced tracks. Ending with the remix to "I Got Love" this album is excellent. Trust me and buy it, you won't be disappointed
