    Pros: Albert Finney's performance...and the train!

    Cons: Michael York and Sean Connery looked a bit lost.

    A nearly perfect whodunit, with the marvelous Orient Express as the backdrop. For Albert Finney, the role of a lifetime,with a look so stunningly different as to remind viewers of Marlon Brando in "Teahouse of the August Moon" nearly twenty... years before.     A rather sluggish thriller but the cast makes up for the lulls. Finney isn't my idea of Hercule Poirot, but Richard Widmark is perfect as Ratchett, the millionaire with more enemies than he realizes. Others of note include Anthony Perkins, Lauren B...acall, and Sean Connery. A splendid if slow ride.http:/
