    What a strong emotional piece! This cd can set moods like no other... simmiliar to the sounds of H.I.M. from finland as well as Cyrus Ashrafi and The Rocky Horror Picture show all in one!!! (yes, most of these are unheard of, as was nick cave at one ...time, so look into them). I can't say enough wow things about this album... so different from cave's yet so inside....     Just one thing...

    Don't listen to this CD on high end equipment. It will scare you to death, literally. I have a 5-ch stereo mode on right now and the room is literally crawling with darkness.

    The BEST Cave album to date!

    Murder Ballads is a dark look into the macabre that is Nick Cave. I have yet to see anyone listen to this album all the way through and not get chills at least once. If you only buy one Nick Cave album, it should be Murder Ballads!
