I initially bought this machine more for the "retro/classic" styling than for use as an everyday coffeemaker. However, I've used it everyday for 2 years now and still plan to do so. It's pretty sturdy and well built. One of the smal...l tabs holding the lid on my carafe broke but it still holds with one. There is a brew strength feature which helps to "waken up" lesser quality coffees and the paperless filter works well and does not become clogged at all. It has a timer, backlight and clean cycle indicator which all work perfectly. It has brewed multiple pots of coffee daily for 2 years and I still really like using it. Read more Less
