    Better than the GE we had

    Pros: Easy to use, Buttons and programming simple

    Cons: No 2-4 cup mode, Noisy, no temp control, carafe drips easily

    Our GE unit died and then re-died (wires burned thoru inside). We bought this as an inexpensive repalcement (about 2/3's the cost fo the GE unit) The noise and "pre-cup" gyrations to have a pot of fresh ground is about the same. Uses standard filters, so thats easier. The grinding pattern evenly distributes the coffee in the drip pan (no pile on one side or the other). Requires a little clean up before or after to prepare for next pot. Easy to program.

    Very time consuming to prepare

    Pros: Coffee tastes great

    Cons: It takes too long to prepare it for brewing

    Because of the design, you have to make sure everything is dry before you load the coffee. It is blown into the coffee filter. It is noisy to use and awkward to prep. I keep forgetting that the filter is left empty.

    Very dissatisfied
