Movietime Popcorn Cart - Don't Waste your Money

Pros: Looks good in a corner

Cons: Popped corns don't come out hot at all

I had high hopes for this product, especially after forking out a lot of money for it. This was a gift for my wife for our 34th wedding anniversary...we were all set for the movie night, popped the corns and they came out barely warm. Initially we u...sed one table spoon of oil per instructions. So tried again with two tablespoon of oil (someone had posted a note on the web that one tablespoon was not enough). We wrote to the company to see if there was a trick to getting hot popcorn, no response. Why should they, they got their money. I am planning on taking it back to the store and get my money back and use it to buy the Mrs something else. My advice: Don't by this heap unless you have an open area in your house and you want it adorned as a conversational piece and a reminder that you were taken in. Read more Less
