My First Cell Phone: Moto V300
Pros: Has Camera, Attractive, Large Screen
Cons: Battery Must Re-Charge Daily; Settings Change in Case
The Moto V300 was my first cell phone.I am attached to it for that reason. I got it used without an owner's manual so it was confusing to use. After using and finding the manual on the Internet, I saw all the features. It is more than a basic phone. It has many features; unfortunately most of which are costly. This model, has the red and green keys in the opposite order of the norm. The picture quality is OK. It cannot take videos. What's annoying is that when I slide it into the carrying case, the ringer is often changed or even gets turned off while being pushed into the case, so I miss calls. The battery must be charged daily otherwise it "chirps" in the middle of the night and wakes me up. It only lists 10 "Received Calls". After that, the earlier calls get deleted. It is a nice phone for beginners like myself. I hope to move on to a model with more features.

I have had this phone for a year now, it rocks, so many features and very easy to browse thru the menus. The outside cover does get scratched easy but im ruff with my phones and it's held up so far.

Had V300 phone. It was working fine for first nine months - good speakphone and bad reception.
Right after one year, the phone was almost dead -- tooks about 3 - 5 min to wake up from sleep mode -- miss almost all the calls at that time.

Pros: Pretty good pic quality, Speaker is great, plays my Mp3 songs pretty clear.Like the e-mailing to friends. You can set photos to contacts and ringtones.
Cons: I have to bang it on something in order to the person who i'm calling to hear me sometimes. Lot of drop calls, and poor reseption
This phone is pretty good overall i guess. it's my second phone. well 3rd if you count the replacement i had to get for it. The Antena broke off once, it wouldn't charge well with the charger it came with. I would have to bang it on something, usually the wall or the table in order for the person i'm calling to hear me. The pic's came out pretty good, lot better than i expected. Speaker is alright. i'll give it an 8.5 our of ten, but the phone overall was OK, what really killed it was the reseption i would get, drop calls, and of course hitting it everyonce in a while for it to work.

I have went through about 5 of these phones, due to the phone not charging. Also the antenna easily screws off, and might break! You can only have one # per contact, also, I sometimes don't get my calls only a voicemail, and it only stores upto 10 calls, not too convienient! Wish it could take video!Does'nt hold a charge very long, and the blue cover seems to be covered with a plastic coat and after a while it wears away...?

I have had my V300 for over two years. T-mobile customer service is wonderful, my V300 is excellent, and it is the best cell phone I have purchsed. I travel overseas alot and I never have a problem receiving messages/phone calls. However, just this month am I experiencing problems with my screen going black so I will upgrade to a new phone. I believe this problem is occuring because I have dropped it so much.
