    I LOVE THIS PHONE.

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Aug 10, 2004 | 37 out of 43 found this Motorola V300 review helpful

    Pros: CAMERA, EASY USE,

    Cons: WEIRD CASE

i got my v300 in april. i had been drooling over this phone for months before hand.it is everything i thought it would be and more. you can have personal ring tones and picture id. the games are ok but im not a game person. the picture quality is rat...her good for a camera phone and they transfer well to emails. i use this function alot so i throughly suggest getting unlimited pic sending if your plan offers it. i thought i would only use it once in awhile. i know find myself emailing photos at least 1 to 2 times a day.the text messaging function is awesome because i can send text messages to peoples email and they can respond. (this is a huge thing when you have friends who are military and are overseas) the little external antena gives the signal that extra boost in sketchy signal areas. the only issue i had with it is tmobile gives you a free blue case that attaches to your purse hip etc. only issue is you had to take it out of the case to answer or use the phone so i was constantly wondering away from the case. also the case only has a small piece of ribbon and velcro to keep the phone in the case and after a few weeks of use i was starting to wonder how well it was going to last. so i went and bought a little leather flip phone case at circuit city that also protects the oh so awesome color display and light up keys. the battery life is great as long as you dont game insanely on it. i think i have to charge it every few days and thats with using the phone, text and pic sending options frequesntly throughout the day and night.i totally love this phone and recommend it to anyone. :) Read more Less

    Realy like the phone. (but)

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Oct 11, 2004 | 13 out of 16 found this Motorola V300 review helpful

Pros: like all the nice little features on it.

Cons: I just wished the camera was alittle bit better quality

I have had this phone for about four months now, and realy like it alot. I have never yet had the battery go dead, or lost a call in the middle of a conversation. I do wished t-mobil had a better coverage area. I can drive about five miles outside o...f town and lose all the signal Luckly it only happens in a few spots around town, I guess that is probaly true with alot of cell phones. If they ever can improve the quality of the camera it would be a real sweet phone to have. It takes alittle time to send a picture to someones email address unless you already had it in your address book, but if the picture quality was alittle betterit would be worth it. But I think its only a 1.2 meg pixel which in my opion just isnt worth sending pictures over theinternet. Come on MOTOROLA Improve the camera please. gm Read more Less

    Missed Calls

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Oct 21, 2004 | 9 out of 11 found this Motorola V300 review helpful

    Pros: Picture Quality

    Cons: Missed Calls

The only thing bad about this phone is that your missed calls go onto your received calls call log instead of on thier own seperate log. Sometimes this gets a little confusing and I call back people whos call I didn't miss or vice versa. I real...ly like the picture quality. It is much better than the quailty on most camera phones I've seen. Read more Less

Not a great phone as everyone says it is.

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Dec 2, 2004 | 8 out of 10 found this Motorola V300 review helpful

    Pros: The speaker is great.

    Cons: The connection is poor.

For the price I paid, I would rather have bought another phone. At first, I thought this phone looked cute plus it has so many cool features. However, after having the phone for a couple of weeks, I realized how many problems this phone has. First..., the connection is very poor. Can't get a connection anywhere. Second, it keeps disconnecting me during my conversations. Just to carry on a half conversation, I would have to call my friend back at least twice. It gets to be a pain when you can't carry a conversation for more than ten minutes without getting cut off. I had Motorola phones before and they work fine. Unless the phone is free and you don't have any other choice, I wouldn't recommend it. Read more Less

    Motorola V300 (T-Mobile)

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Mar 1, 2005 | 4 out of 5 found this Motorola V300 review helpful

Pros: Great Reception, great features, great value

    Cons: Small Dial Pad

I bought this phone last December 2004. I changed the face plate to a sky blue color and added sparkling lights antenna when active (receiving and making calls)so far I am very happy with it, excellent talktime and standby time there are times I leav...e my phone on standby for 3 to 4 days without charging the battery. I don't understand why Yahoo review said It had 390 minutes talk time(6.5 hours) and yet only 3 hours standby time? Is that a typo or intentionally misleading information? Anyway I am very satisfied with this phone, so far not a single drop call yet even inside my house, in the Mall, even inside the hospital and Elevator. The reception is incredible. Read more Less

    Pros: camera

    Cons: everything else

I have only been with tmobile for 9 months and i am already on my fourth v300 phone. it either stops charging or my reciever breaks to where i can not hear anyone unless i put them on speaker phone. this is just a very poorly made phone, especially f...or the money i spent on it. What was Motorola Thinking???

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Feb 22, 2005 | 6 out of 11 found this Motorola V300 review helpful

Pros: Camera, speaker phone, looks like it would be a cool phone

Cons: ringer volume adjust on the side works when phone is closed, only one number per contact, locks up

This has to be the worst phone I have ever had. Just a few things that really get me about this phone. Our company bought 25 of these phones to give to everyone in IT. Everyone hates them. You can adjust the ringer volume when the phone is closed. I...f you have the phone in your pocket you can set the phone to silent and not even know it. Most people these days have more than one phone number. This phone makes you store their name twice. John Doe Home, John Doe Mobile. The phone is also very slow to use. You press a button and it hesitates. I have also been using it on the phone and when you loose singnal with the worst carrier ever (T-mobile) then the phone locks up and you have to pull the battery out to reboot it. You would think Microsoft developed the software for these phones. Over all, this phone works. I just personally wouldn't buy another one. Read more Less
