Pros: Water Resistant + Recheargeable AA Compatible
Cons: Battery Charger Not Very Interchangeable
Overall these two way radios are very durable and funtion very well. They have a good distance funtionality. They include Weather Channels. What they lack is a long battery life.. We have used them in a business function for on site manager to sub crew manager uses. They are great if you have a power source to keep them charged. The only draw back is that there is no plug in style power supply for both in separate cars unless you purchase a separate cradle for one and a step down from 12vdc to the charging voltage.
Overall these are worth the trouble and We are still using these for recreation purposes when camping or hiking. ...
