By Yahoo! Shopping User  Oct 5, 2005 | 265 out of 300 found this Motorola Razr V3 Black review helpful

    Pros: loud speaker, design, features

Cons: not enough internal memory, what about v-recording,poor battery life

motorola should increase the phones memory drastically. improve on picture quality after pic is taken and stored.they should really do something about increasing the phones memory in order for the phone to really compete with other phones

Motorola Razr V3 Black Cell Phone

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Nov 24, 2005 | 91 out of 110 found this Motorola Razr V3 Black review helpful

Pros: Awesome, Color black is beautiful! Superb sound and pictures. Tons of compliments. No one else in my town on Longview, Washington has seen a black one. I got it when it first came out. Even employees at cellular phones love it. I am constantly having to show it off.

Cons: No light at night to see the numbers. I have to hold down the cover to light up the numbers. That is a real inconvenience. Battery life is short. However, I have a car and home battery, so it isn't a total inconvenience. Would be nice to not have to keep it on a charger as much as I do.

This is the ultimate best phone I have owned and I have been buying a new phone every year. This is a keeper.

    A flawed beauty

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Nov 8, 2005 | 32 out of 43 found this Motorola Razr V3 Black review helpful

Pros: Very slim, lighweight and stylish

    Cons: Very problematic battery

I love the look and feel of this phone so much that it breaks my heart to advise anyone considering buying one to think twice. Yes, it has the looks but unfortunately there is a serious design fault with the battery. Basically it never gets to being ...fully-charged and then discharges within 2 days even in standby. It even discharges AS IT SAYS IT IS CHARGING! This is not just a one-off fault with my phone. A colleague has a V3 Silver and the exact same happens with his. Buyers beware! :-( Read more Less

    Almost there

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Oct 6, 2005 | 23 out of 28 found this Motorola Razr V3 Black review helpful

    Pros: solid, droppable, sleek

Cons: phonebook stinks, needs more memory

I wanted a phone that would store lots of contacts, take snapshots, last for days on a charge and maintain a strong signal. This phone does all that... However, Moto needs to improve the phone book. I have hundreds of contacts in mine and they are ...difficult to access, as this phone only allows you to look up the first letter of their name (I know six Jennifers, not to mention Johns, Jims, etc.) You also will have a separate entry for Jennifer's home, work and cell numbers. Sony Ericsson and Nokia both have more functional Contact Lists. (I read that for $60.00 you can buy a [Windows only] program where you can connect the Razr to your PC and manage your phone list that way. I have a Mac, and no interest in adding a $60.00 program to a $300.00 phone.) The volume in the earpiece could be louder, but maybe I'm just getting old. Otherwise, I think this a pretty good phone. Horrible feelling...

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Mar 13, 2006 | 11 out of 14 found this Motorola Razr V3 Black review helpful

Pros: Very slim, lighweight and stylish

Cons: Baterry life is poor, its a verry delicate phone, internal memory.

I bought this phone 3 month ago. At the beggining I was realy happy, but one day the screen went blank. I took it in for technical suport and they fixed it, they change all internal "stuf". Two weeks after, the number pad went dead... so I ...took it back for technical suport, they fixed it again... but the truth is... I dont rely on my phone any more... and thats a horrible feelling. Im sorry but this was my first and last Motorola. I need a tougher phone... god bless Nokia! Read more Less

    Motorola's Inconsequential Masterpiece

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Mar 14, 2006 | 9 out of 10 found this Motorola Razr V3 Black review helpful

Pros: Sleek and slender stylish housing unit, matte finished colors, an acute audio speaker, laser etched dial and option keys, feathery weight, etc..

Cons: Laser etched dial and option keys, ear piece audio speaker, voice recorder, purchased electronic games, etc..

Motorola did a revolutionary concept with the introduction of the RAZR v3. They continue to do so with the addition of the black Razr. The Razr is a semi-affordable cellular phone with a great color and great features; however, for those who just use... the cell phone for just telecommunication with family and friends the price is fairly high (Even with rebates and special offers.) Major Pleasures are as follows: The sleek and stylish housing unit that just is worthy of an induction into the Smithsonian and it's very ergonomic. The matte finished color is not too intrusive to look at unlike others with blistering shimmers; furthermore, the practicality of the finish is to help user maintain control. The external audio speaker is loud and very clear with little to no interferences. The laser etched dial and option keys are a great addition because the keys will not wear out like traditional telephonic buttons. The feathery weight of this unit is a considerable subject to bring up due to the fact that is only a few ounces. Major displeasures are as follows: Rebates can take up to 3months until you'll receive it. The laser etched dial and option keys are difficult to operate if your fingers are large. The ear piece audio speaker is literally nonexistent even when you place the volume at maximum level. The voice recorder is a little bit comberson to use and store; plus, a cost will be implemented for the usage of this feature. Purchased electronic games may require web access but before you purchase anything...contact the provider's support/ customer service representative. With much to say already the conclusion would have to be that if you are a technophile or a fashionista/fashionisto then this is the cellular phone for you. Pros: i think it needs memory for tones.

Cons: The battery doesn't last long.

I would come up with an extended battery and an extenden memory ship for pictures an video.
