    Telus Mobility User

By Donald P  May 10, 2006 | 10 out of 12 found this Motorola RAZR V3c review helpful

Pros: size and styling, sound quality

Cons: battery life, hard to view camera screen in bright daylight

Canadians can get the RazrV3c from Telus Mobility. I got a very special promotion for only $49. The unit is just about every I hoped for and provides much better sound quality than my previou Motorola. The phone makes me happy every time I take it... our of my pocket. Like every phone, the battery life is much less than advertised. It's hard to see the camera screen in bright day light but there is no other phone that is nearly as appealing to my tastes. Simply amazing

    By Er!c  May 2, 2006 | 7 out of 11 found this Motorola RAZR V3c review helpful

Pros: GREAT battery life, looks awesome, easy to use, got it cheap, great service, great camera, loud ringers, downloadable ringtones and games.

Cons: When you record a ringtone, you can listen to it loudly, but when someone calls, it's almost silent.

This phone is amazing. The buttons are very easy to use, and it looks so cool. I'm 13 and all my friends could say when they saw my new phone was, "LUCKY! You suck!". It's awesome having. It enables me to communicate, be entert...ained, and take pictures and videos. I took great pictures of when I went to Lake Tahoe and showed everyone at school. I've had the phone on all day and the battery was still full. I thought it might be fragile, but I've had it for a month and there isn't a scratch on it. Read more Less

    Hello Moto

Pros: You look sweet with it

Cons: Battery Life really sucks, but I texted alot! so the screen is always on for me

Overall, its a great phone, One thing is that you cant set it on vibrate for deafult, you have to change it each time, which I find annoying because everytime you walk into a meeting you have to make sure its on vib. other than that, the screen gets ...really dirty quickly when you put it up to your face... great phone, lots of fun Read more Less

    MY RAZR

By Arpit P.  May 1, 2006 | 3 out of 5 found this Motorola RAZR V3c review helpful

    Pros: features

    Cons: price

i like this phone.. its already been 2 monthes since i have got it. and i like all the features and everything for this phone. the only thing is that the price is little too high for vz phones. specialy the razr. i ended up getting this phone on full... retail price. its little too expencive. all the other providers are giving out this phone for free.. VZ on the other hand its too costly to own this phone. but overall the features and the battery life is great. i like it. i dont have to charge it everyday even thought i talk on the phone alot. i end up charging my phone every other day or so. so the battery life is great.. the best part is it has built in BLOCK NUMBER list that you can make. you can block the numbers you want. you know what i mean for those who wants to block someone this is a great feature for you. Hate this V3C

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Oct 5, 2006 | 2 out of 3 found this Motorola RAZR V3c review helpful

    Pros: None

    Cons: battery life sucks!

Bought V3C in April have had into the Verizon shop at least three times - they check the phone - they do something with the battery and then they send us home. Can talk for a whole 1/2 hour before phone needs to be recharged. I am told by Verizon who... supposely have such great coverage that tge reason it doesn't hold a charge is because it maybe where I live . BS - I say - I don't live in the country - I live in the city - They have a bad product and they don't want to stand by it. This phone needs to be RECALLED. Read more Less

    cool EXPENSIVE phone...

By LRM  Jul 30, 2006 | 2 out of 3 found this Motorola RAZR V3c review helpful

Pros: Cool design, iTap text messaging, battery is decent

Cons: You cannot make the phone ring and vibrate at the same time, camera's shutter is slow (makes pictures look blurred), speaker phone is dismal, buttons come off.

I went out and bought a pink Razr V3c. It was $400 and intially, I loved the phone at first... I got many compliments on it. I really liked the keypad (at first, then it got to be a pain).. Then I noticed a few things I did not like so much. With my ...old cell, you can set the phone to ring and vibrate when someone calls. Not with the Razr. Either ring OR vibrate, but not both. The camera takes blurry photos even in decent lighting. Some of the outdoor shots I took were alright. In sunlight, the lcd screens are very hard to see. The center "OK" button came off. It still worked, but it was weird, seeing how I never abused the phone or overused it. My phone got a little damp (my bad), and dried out and worked ok... Now it won't hold a charge and when I plug it into the charger, it tells me "UNAUTHORIZED CHARGER". So now I have a pretty $400 paperweight. I would probably not buy another Razr. It's a cool looking phone but if you want to buy one, make sure it's on sale and don't be a fool and spend $400 on this phone. Read more Less

    Disappointed

By PatrickM  Feb 26, 2007 | 1 out of 1 found this Motorola RAZR V3c review helpful

    Pros: It does look cool.....

    Cons: And that's it.

For all the hype and marketing effort put into the Razr, it really was nothing spectacular. Sure, it's a decent phone.. worth $49, but aside from it's appearance, it's a standard ol' Motorola. The battery life is a...bsolutely horrible, reception is poor (compared to my old Samsung)no flash, poor video quality, and the fact that you have to remove the battery to insert or remove the memory card is kinda' silly. The user interface is standard/bland, not what you'd expect from a Motorola "flagship&qu
ot; phone. I will say though, it is suprisingly tough. I have thrown, dropped, slammed, and drop kicked this thing, and it still works like the day I got it.. which unfortunately, is not saying much. If it worked right, none of that beating would've been necessary to begin with. Replaced with the LG9900 after less than a year. I paid $250 to replace this phone.. that should tell you something.

    By Gregory  Jun 16, 2009

    Pros: None

    Cons: Junk

The is the biggest piece of junk cell phoneI have ever owned. I have not had the phone for two years and had to replace the battery once and getting close to second time. DO NOT Waste your money on this phone. It should tell you something when the on...ly cell phone battery in my local Best Buy is for a RAZR. Motorola used to have very good products, I will never buy another motorola cell phone. Read more Less
