From Joseph Minion, screenwriter of cult faves AFTER HOURS and VAMPIRE'S KISS comes this this rock-and-roll comedy adventure. It tells the story of Gus (Jordan Christopher Michael), a ten-year-old boy who becomes obessed with a promotional card game in which players must collect cards at gas stations along the freeway. To fuel his obession, he runs away from home and hits the road in his father's Ford Mustang convertible, only to encounter a bizarre cast of characters (played by the likes of Drew Barrymore, Meat Loaf Aday, Garrett Morris, Susan Tyrell, Jack Nance, Flea, and Dick Miller, among others) along the way. The music by is provided by ex-Police member Andy Summers.

    A Wildly Pointless Movie

    I watched this movie from beginning to end, hoping to see a point or at least an ending where the whole movie tied in. Never happened.A 10 year old boy sets off on a wild goose chase, trying to win a game, all the while people are treating him like a... grown adult and he acts like it too. He goes through all kinds of hardships, yet still tries to win the game. There are MANY pointless, confusing parts that I won't mention so that I don't give away the movie, but the only thing that made me watch this whole movie was a hope that the ending would tie everything together.     A surreal satire of middle class America. A roadtrip like no other. A 10 year old boy and a Corvette alone on a cross-country quest to win a gas station contest. This movie is about life, purpose, monotony, ambition.
