I love this movie with a passion. It had just the right features. With that I mean the actors and the music. I'm reallly looking forwards to a soundtrack because the music was da bomb. I really need that music.

Must See Movie

Pros: Well written, well acted, well casted, soundtrack was tight....

Cons: Fight scenes and sex scenes could have been better choreographed.

I must admit that the only thing that drew me initially to this movie was Shemar and Vivica...but I was not disappointed. The story is well written and takes the viewer on a nice plotted ride through the life of a man whose life is upturned by his lack of wise choices in this day and age. The script, but for a few "awww c'mon nobody does that" kind of moments, is very well witty and intelligent without compromising the integration of cultural nuances that give it its urban appeal. Victoria Rowell and Mel Jackson are a hoot with their Abbott and Costello routine. Victoria is always a pleasure to watch and is quite underrated and exposed in my opinion. Mel Jackson, fine as usual but brother could use a diet, 'naah mean! Shemar...did a great job. I was impressed, not just by his pecs alone, but by his acting chops as well. He was perfectly suited for this role as was Joe Torre. I really enjoyed seeing Golden Brooks in a different kind of role that she really stepped up to the plate on and handled hers. Kiesha Knight Pulliam and the roomate Gwen--I need the numbers to their hairdressers! Dang!!! The soundtrack very well done....All the songs were new and fresh and lent a very original tone to the movie. I hope that the next project by the film director and producer are as good as this, I'll go out and buy that movie too!

Pros: A very good movie with such attractive actors

Cons: Unnecessary sex scenes

This movie is very good. The way the actors are portrayed and act is so professional and real-I mean, people can relate to the characters. But, the true motive behind this movie is magnificent. The movie keeps you guessing until the very end, and even then, I had to do a little thinking of my own in order to truly understand the film. I love this movie. I watch it over and over again. It's so nice to finally have a classy black movie!!! The only thing that I didn't like were the sex scenes. They were so sleazy and unnecessary especially considering that they were with that ugly, sleepy-looking female(Golden Brooks). Anyway, the movie is off da' chain. I only wish there were more love scenes with the talented Vivica A. Fox.

It Could Have Been Called Trois 3: Motives

Pros: The plot was good and all the loose ends were tied at the end.

Cons: Ramirez's role could have been painted a little clearer.

I rented this movie just to support the black actors, and I was very impressed with the overall product. By the time it got to the end, I think they could have just called the movie Trois 3: Motives. I realize that it is from those same creative minds, but I think that it would have just been truer to the plot to add "trois" in the title. The movie had me in suspense trying to figure out "whodunit," and why. Just when I thought I had something figured out, it would get flipped and I would have to rethink each person's "Motives."

What's happening? "Motives a little bit abstract sensuous Shemar Moore plays opposite beautiful Vivica Fox." In this estrange affair love marriage triangle thriller. A sinister spinster romances an inhibited girl. They 'read my mind, laughter. He tickled me pink. Impressive! Great Shirt! I'll have to check out The Seat Filler, and How to Marry a Billionaire!
