    Deborah Cox 3rd album and her first for J Records. Deborah co-wrote the first single with Terry Lewis of the duo Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. This is a soft swinging song that shows Deborah song writing skills at its best. Rapper Jadakiss gives the son...g a flow that is his trademark, the production is tight. It shows another playful side of Deborah, a more sexy side. The 2nd song "Too Good to be true" produced by Jermain Dupree Deborah gives us rich vocals and convincing lyrics. The whole album is an incredible body of work from a very soulful and articulate artist. The title song "The morning After" co-written by Deborah and Warren Campbell is a true masterpiece. The lyrics tell about a friendship that turned into love a situation many people can relate to. The song's lush arrangements with its symphonies and strings is truly a work that cannot be compared.
