The alternative country band Moonlight Rodeo grew out of jams held in living rooms in San Rafael CA in 1994, including such players as Jesse Lee Kincaid (a founding member of Rising Sons), Kurt Huget, and Mayne Smith. Later joining the ensemble was David Getz (a founding member of Big Brother the Holding Company).
