David Olof Peter Pagmar (better known as Montt Mardie) is a Swedish singer/songwriter whose ethereal, soulful falsetto and genrebending sensibilities nod to likeminded Scandinavians like Jens Lekman, Tobias Froberg, and Loney Dear. His debut album, Drama, was released on Hybris in 2005. An EP, Science, was released one year later, leading up to the release of a double album, 2007's Clocks/Pretender. The album included a disc of duets featuring artists like Jens Lekman, Hello Saferide, Andreas Mattson, and Vapnet.
