Boston MC Moe Pope's career first took off in the early 2000s with Bay Areabased hiphop band Crown City Rockers, which originally formed in Boston as Mission:. Aside from singles and 12"s, Pope only appeared on the group's first LP, One, in 2001, before he decided to return to Boston in order to look after his daughter.
