Chicago locals Racecar and KKruz originally formed underground hiphop group Modill as a MCproducer pair in 2003 before joined by ThaiOne Davis in 2004. Drawing from Native Tonguerap, jazz, and Chicago soul and electronica, producer/drummer KKruz shapes the group's breezy and progressive sounds for Racecar's and Davis' introspective commentary.
