If you don't laugh, you're dead

This is a fine film for any fan of Albert Brooks' body of work, or of Albert Brooks' body. (The witty writer/
    actor/
    director/
free mason does take his shirt off numerous times.) There are many clever scenes and funny lines, but there is one scene in particular featuring George Kennedy, (you remember him as the straight-man/detetective from the Naked Gun films), that is one of the funniest scenes ever put on film. THE funniest scene ever put on film is the opening skit in the fine comedy "Amazon Women on the Moon." (Funny story about that movie. I originally rented it thinking it was a "snuff" film, but when I got home I was shocked to discover that it featured Arsenio Hall, Michelle Pfieffer, Ed Begley, Jr., Carrie Fischer and the gentleman that got screwed out of an Oscar for his performance in 'Ford Fairlane': Andrew "Dice" Clay. It turned out to be a funny film, so it's worth your time.) I wholeheartedly recommend that you see Modern Romance.
