Users found this Mission: Impossible 2 review helpful what really blew my mind was that nobody mentioned the SHAMELESS ripoff from "Last of The Mohicans". Cruise tells the freshly infected girl, "YOU STAY ALIVE! I WILL FIND YOU!!!" I'll call this an open letter to Robert Towne, the marginally talented stain who threw this pedestrian script together. Next time you rip off a great line from another film, just make sure:
1) The film from which you borrow has no parallels to yours. 2) The film from which you borrow is clearly inferior to yours.
"Last of the Mohicans" is a truly amazing film, and MI2 is worth a rental minus that stolen line. Buy the former, and prepare to get blown away. ...
