what really blew my mind was that nobody mentioned the SHAMELESS ripoff from "Last of The Mohicans". Cruise tells the freshly infected girl, "YOU STAY ALIVE! I WILL FIND YOU!!!" I'll call this an open letter to Robert Towne, the marginally talented stain who threw this pedestrian script together. Next time you rip off a great line from another film, just make sure:
1) The film from which you borrow has no parallels to yours. 2) The film from which you borrow is clearly inferior to yours.

An excellent follow up to the 1996 flop with Tom Cruise in the lead role and Thandie Newton and Dougray Scott co-starring.
This time round, plot is very simple, IMB agent Ethan Hunt(Tom Cruise) needs to find and destroy a certain virus called Chimera before ex-agent Sean Ambrose(Dougray Scott) causes a world-wide plague.
Directed with extreme professionalism by acclaimed action director John Woo, M:I-2 surely tops all action movies and its predecessor by far.

this movie was the best action movie i have ever seen!!! tom cruise was, as always, thrilling and brethtaking. new comer thandi newton amazed audiences everywhere! john woo's direction was stellar and the special effects were amazing. the best parts though were any of the scenes including tommy c!!! you HAVE to see this movie!!

I just can't wait to buy the Mission:Impossible 2 DVD. This movie is just unbelieveable. It's a shame there's not an area-4 DVD yet. Regardz from Brazil.

When Ethan Hunt reprises his role he does an even better job then the first one. With Dougary Scott and the lucious Thadie Newton at his side they team together to form a great villian and hero combination. Tom Cruise makes every slow-motion kick worth all the while. The special effects were awesome and John Woo adds his spicy touch to make an alomst perfect film. After all each search for a hero requires something all hero's require, a villian. M:I:2 gives the right amount of special effects and stunts to make this movie blow-up big! Tom Cruise sizzles and makes this film realize this was no Mission Impossible to make!

Although I'm not a huge action movie fan, I quite enjoyed MI2. It had enough of a storyline to keep me interested and enough explosions to keep me from being bored. Plus, it had Thandie Newton in the female lead. And you can never go wrong with that!

i hated evry minute of this movie.not worth seeing again to save my life.it is not a mission impossible movie.they should have gotten stalone to be cruise because this was a stupid action film for simple minded people

M:I-2 is one of the best movies to come out this year and is definetly heaps better than the first one. With death defying stunts and excellent martial arts sequences, it is a real electrifying action flick. Director John Woo has done it again. A must see for action fans.
