This by far is one of the best movies that the whole family can watch. Ralph Fiennes voice really captures the tenderness and full emotion that Jesus must have experienced while here in a very real way. All characters are played in a very natural way with bits of humor that really help us look into the lives of those who got to walk with Jesus before He ascended to heaven.
The script is true to the Bible and is very carefully written. The animation is awesome, and the use of less "detailed" animation is used to tell the stories of Lazarus, the Road to Amaes, and of Mary Magdeline. It was an excellent way to "soften" the intensity of such a serious matter, such as when Jesus was casting the seven demons from Mary.
I would pick watching this version of Jesus' life over any other because all of the characters were so real, it showed their struggles of who this Jesus was, and how He loved, died, and forgave them. (The Passion, though I believe that it is an excellent film, is too graphic for children, and myself.) The Miracle Maker is pallatable and powerful for all ages without compromising the truth of the scriptures! Buy yours today! ...
