    Pros: Dope Beats Dope Rhymes what more do yall want?

    Cons: It didnt come out sooner.

    I was in Alabama when I first heard these cats man. 9th Got mad boom on the wheels of steel or as Khrysis put it "the man who owns 2 microwaves". If you have never heard the listening though, you need to go get that too. The formula is raw ...and the chemistry is definately there. So good, they got (what was that) like 4 - 41/2 mics in the source and Phonte got the hip hop quotable for the verse he spit on "For You". Justus league is definately takin' over. But the question still remains...... Dope Beats Dope Rhymes what more do yall want? Read more Less

    One of the best albums of 2005

    Pros: Production, Lyrics, Message, and humor. This album has it all

    Cons: That you havent bought the ablum yet

    This album just said what everybody is really thinking about the state of hip-hop right now. For that reason, you may not like it but for those with an open mind and a love for Hip-hop, you gotta pick this up.

    Great Album, MUST BUY FOR TRUE HIP HOP FANS!

    Pros: Passionate Rhymes and Soulful beats like the Golden Era of Hip Hop.

    Cons: Not many will grasp the "touchy" concept of the album instantly.

    Best tracks: "Lovin It", "Cheatin", "Slow It Down" and "Watch Me". Phonte, Rapper Big Pooh and 9th Wonder truly are The Little Brothers of the great Hip Hop groups De La Soul and A Tribe Called Quest. They'...;ve delivered a great album with passionate lyrics from The Minstrel Show that is the Rap Industry today to personal subjects such as Fatherhood issues to comical parodies of R&B on "Cheatin". Overall a great album, i definitely recommend everyoone to BUY the minstrel show. Read more Less

    The Minstrel Show is "OK"

    Pros: Something different than the norm, allows hip hop heads to exhale

    Cons: Its just not as good as The Listening or even Chitlin' Circuit

    This a good album but its not the classic everyone is toting it out to be. Its a good album, buy it, enjoy it but don't expect to be playing it without other cd's around to round out your experience.
