Synopsis: Midaq Alley (1998)

   1 of 2 Yahoo! Users found this Midaq Alley review helpful This film was way better than I expected. It is one of those films you need to see more than once so that you catch everything. Although this is a foreign (Mexican) movie, it has a very modern American 'feel', unlike a lot of foreign films. This film is delightfully different in that it is seen through three different people's eyes -- yet everything comes back together with the well-planned storyline. I think they could have done more with Salma's character. I lost the 'personal connection' with her character by the end. ...
