Why get a Zune when you can get an iPod?
Pros: Compatible with PlaysForSure Microsoft DRM music
Cons: Not as usable as an Apple product
The Zune is just not as usable as an iPod. Just get the iPod (but buy your music from Amazon, not Apple -- Amazon sells DRM-free music which means you can play it anywhere, not just through iTunes)

Recently purchased ZUNE 30 gig. How do I download movies into the ZUNE to playback and view?

Pros: quality at a reasonable price, if you buy you'll diversify the market-which is always a plus
Cons: battery life somewhat short, maketplace lack of video content currently
If you like having money in your pocket and want a quality player, this is it. Great video resolution, sound and use of features. there is really no point on spending more, unless you feel it is socially necessary to fit in with the IPOD toting nation-WHY?
