    Broken, incompatible mouse

    Pros: Umm... none?

    Cons: Not compatible with laptop internal bluetooth, heavy, imprecise, exceedingly expensive

    This mouse is such a bad deal it's hard to know where to begin. I guess up front, let me just say this: if you like a broken, overpriced mouse, then keep considering this item. Otherwise, run away from this page. Issues: 1. Incompatible with nea...rly every internal bluetooth stack on the market. Just do some googling about this mouse. So far owners of Dell, HP, Toshiba, Lenovo, Fujitsu, and ASUS mice are complaining that this mouse is either completely undetected (as is the case with my brand new Lenovo Tablet Thinkpad X61), or only works with the two main mouse buttons. The USB dongle does apparently work, but usually the point of buying a bluetooth mouse is so that you don't have to keep plugging and unplugging one from your laptop. If I wanted a dongle, I would have gotten a mouse with a super small dongle other companies make, which incidentally are less than half the price. 2. Heavy, can be hard to easilly grip and pick up due to shape. 3. Imprecise, and has a tendency to lag mouse movements from time to time. 4. EXCEEDINGLY EXPENSIVE. 80-90 dollars is already high for a mouse, but a broken one?!?! It isn't worth 19 dollars, let alone 90! Summary: Had I known the extent of this mouse's incompatibility and other issues I NEVER would have bought it. Read more Less

    Pros: Excellent Mouse

    Cons: Not Compatible with Sony VAIO

    Sony VAIO notebooks have this one sickening habit of not being able to run certain softwares/hardwares which other, even older notebooks, can run. One of the thing is the Microsoft Bluetooth Wireless Laser Mouse 8000, specially bought cos I didn'...;t like my former Logitech bluetooth mouse which, typical of this brand, gave an annoying gear feeling on the wheel. The Microsoft Bluetooth Wireless mouse works so fine when I use it on my ASUS noteook with the bluetooth receiver, but when used on my Sony VAIO, only the standard options (left, right and scroll wheel) works. So now the 3rd and 4th smaller buttons are just there for cosmetic reasons. I've read from a website that I need to disable the touchpad cos it uses the same....well, it also doesn't work and why is that my ASUS can still work fine with the touchpad enabled. In summary, don't buy SONY notebooks unless you just want to carry one for the looks. Read more Less
