Cons: It's Microsoft for one thing; viruses galore; annoying graphics; hard to manage
This is by far one of the worst operating systems out there. Every day I am forced to use them at school and be reminded about how horrible they are. I just have one thing to say about getting Windows: Don't. Get a Mac.

Pros: looks good, easy to use, makes my computer faster than 98SE did, makes all my hardware work, great features too.
Cons: Not many. Takes up alot of harddrive space (i hate that part) but otherwise, I like it.
This is a very good quality OS, despite what you all say. My computer was built for Windows 98 SE, but it works much better with XP Home. I don't understand why it wouldn't work on other people's systems except for the amount of RAM they may need. They may also need a faster proccessor. But then again I'm sure that everyone has a faster proccessor than mine. 450MGz Pentium 3. The thing I don't like about XP Home is, the amount of space that it takes up to install onto one of my harddrives. I'm happy that I have two of them. Some software still won't work, but most of it works fine. I never want to see 98SE again. XP is the OS for my computer.

I'm not a happy camper with my Windows XP home. Just about everything I tryed to run, don't.
All my games I had with my computer before lightning hit it worked.
My wife bought me this one with Windows XP home an all my games dont work on it. The Power2Go in "CyberLink DVD Solution's" will not let anything run anything under 800x600 res. I had nothing but trouble with this new computer.Was this review helpful? Yes - Nothe Best Window System To Date

I bought Windows Xp in 2002. Ever since then I love it. It's easy to use, very good interface, and excellent color. It also helps you along the way if different stuff if you need it. I know Micrsoft is doing away with the updates for win 98/98 second editon/ 2000/ME and all professional systems with those years. I recommend geting Windows XP Home edtion and Professional to keep up to date.

Pros: Nice interface, has many features, runs smoothly
Cons: Takes up a share of resources, so you must be picky about how you install it.
This is a nice operating system no doubt, but it's a little too pricy for me. The upgrade CD shoudl be the cost of the full edition in my opinion. You know what though? We're talking about Microsoft here. Don't be suprised. Also, as usual, Microsoft offers NO support for this product. I bought it in a store, and they said they can't help. Scammers. Also, the requirements can be a troublesome for some people, especially those with older computers.
