This program is made for people who have never used a computer before and can't imagine using one for anything but chatting on AOL. (which Xp would be perfectly fine for, but no grand advance over 98)
Unlike past editions, XP guides you ad nauseum through everything and then restricts the extent to which you can use any program but Microsoft's or a sponsor's.(i.e, double-click a photgraph and it's opened by Windows Picture Viewer regardless of association; to open with anything but you must do so manually) If you ever wondered what the government had against Microsoft, use XP and see firsthand. I can't imagine anyone with a speck of intelligence or human dignity not being insulted by using XP and becoming disgusted with Microsoft as a result. ...
