Cheltenham-born singer Mick Farren began his career kicking around the London music scene during the early '60s, performing with a few RB outfits, before finding his true milieu as a founding member of the drug-fueled Social Deviants, later called simply the Deviants. After approximately three years, Farren was booted out of the group during an American tour; he collected himself, returned to England, and cut a solo album in 1970 with a very early version of the Pink Fairies.
