Synopsis: Michael Clayton (2007)
Synopis: Michael Clayton is an in-house "fixer" at one of the largest corporate law firms in New York. A former criminal prosecutor, Clayton takes care of Kenner, Bach & Ledeen's dirtiest work at the behest of the firm's co-founder Marty Bach. Though burned out and hardly content with his job as a fixer, his divorce, a failed business venture and mounting debt have left Clayton inextricably tied to the firm. At U/North, meanwhile, the career of litigator Karen Crowder rests on the multi-million dollar settlement of a class action suit that Clayton's firm is leading to a seemingly successful conclusion. But when Kenner Bach's brilliant and guilt-ridden attorney Arthur Edens sabotages the U/North case, Clayton faces the biggest challenge of his career and his life.Features: Michael Clayton (2007)

Pros: The movie is 2-hours, and it's a legal thriller with a ployline that has been seen before. But it is altered somewhat from other legal thrillers, making for a movie that truly lived up to the hype.
Cons: The features are rather lacking.
For the first time in a long time, a legal thriller has come along that actually lives up to the hype.
George Clooney has more than made up for his last movie, 'The Good German', which was far less than good. Clooney plays the title character--Michael Clayton--who ends up becoming entangled in a web of lies and crime that equals that of Enemy of The State. He discovers that one of the men who worked for the law firm that hired him, has evidence of wrong doing by a major corporation.
When the company--U/North--finds out that both Arthur and Clayton know their secret, certain individuals in the company have Arthur killed, and try to kill Michael, too.
The overall storyline of this movie is not overly original. But in some amazing way, it manages to keep the viewers' attention span for the entire two hours.
Those who are looking for an enthralling, fast-paced thriller, Michael Clayton is definitely a movie that will please. As a side note, viewers will have to pay close atention as the movie goes on to fully understand what it going on. Otherwise, there is a chance that viewers could easily get lost. ...
