Perfect
Pros: great songs that get you happy and wanting to dance
Cons: not the cd you want to listen to when you're angry
I believe I expected more songs that one would dedicate to an ex-boyfriend, but what this cd contains are songs celebrating love, and anything good. The music is just great and the lyrics have you singing along right off the bat.

Pros: I just want to dance in the kitchen with a glas of wine

Mi Sangre is the awaited followup to the hugely successful "Un Día Normal" the multiLatin Grammywinning and bestselling Latin album of 2003, which made him a star.
Although Juanes has a different background that many Latin stars, now it's hard to tell a difference between him and the rest. His music and words sound more conventional than ever.
Like Un Día Normal's lyrics, Mi Sangre's ones are hopeful, romantic, and hackneyed. Many love songs (Amame", Para tu amor", Nada valgo sin tu amor") and a couple of naïve looks over reality (Qué pasa?"and sueños").
Musically, this album is rawer than it's predecessor. Somehow it's also less catchier. It was also produced by Gustavo Santaolalla. Although is not a bad album for Latinpop standards, it's not particularly engaging nor creative.
