Meteos Disney Magic is the best so far!!

    By Adaku  Jul 20, 2007

Pros: Well to me basically EVERYTHING!!

Cons: The sound is still great but it's a bit low quality but that doesn't matter when your having fun!! There lots of solutions for that!

I’ve played Meteos Disney Magic and it’s good and fun to play. It can be played by anyone and is a good game to play with the family. The thing I like about Meteos Disney Magic is that it has totally different game play to it. For example ...you turn the DS sideways so you can have a more lengthy experience. Meteos Disney Magic has all of the great fun of classic Meteos but with the added excitement of seeing your favorite Disney characters from films such as, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Little Mermaid, Winnie the Pooh, Toy Story and many more. You can even play the game with up to four of your friends with the Nintendo DS Wi-Fi four player mode which will keep you entertained for hours, if your friends don't have the game yet then you can send them a free demo from your DS to theirs. Once while I was at my friend’s house my DS's battery was running out so I sent him a demo of the game and he liked it! One of the great things about Meteos Disney Magic is that it will have more characters and levels to play on (from the original version; Meteos). This makes the game more colourful and interesting which will be more appealing to young children as well as adults. Gameplay: You have a bunch of blocks on screen and you move them horizontally and vertically to get three in a row. Once you get 3 in a row the blocks shoot up to the top of the screen and sometimes fall back to your screen again and you need to relaunch them again. That's the gist of the game. However it's surprisingly challenging and addictive. Graphics: The graphics are very colorful and vibrant. They feature the typical Disney scenes and music. Also the designs on the blocks change from stage to stage. Personally i think they're great. The primary differences from Meteos Disney Magic and the original Meteos are as follows: First you hold the DS sideways like a book so that the falling block/images fall long ways on the right hand DS touch screen, the left hand screen is a background theme with various Disney characters following a certain theme, the second huge difference is that you can now move blocks horizontally and vertically as opposed to the standard verticle movement of blocks from the original Meteos which really diversifies the game and really opens the action up! Finally the theme is no longer based in outer space so obviously you will be playing through Disney themed back grounds and themed blocks, which is a very cool change of pace and is much more diversified as every level has its own theme music, style of block and music type. The game is as fun as ever and is now probably the best puzzle based game for the DS system, the music is fitting with the Disney themes and the graphics are crisp and very good looking. This game is very addictive. Puzzle fans will love this game and if you like Disney there is an extra bonus. Overall I think the game is SUPERB and would be appealing to all ages. I play it for hours each day and I know it’s going to keep me busy in the summer for the good! I love the fun puzzles and levels there are very interactive and they get my concentration levels high! I rate the game 10 out of 10. Read more Less
