    Their last mission was to Wilhelmsaven in Germany, where they bombed submarine pens. In the film, the *Radio operator* was injured not the bombardier....but yes, in real life all the crew came back unscathed from their final mission. The film is go...od but it has been changed and glamourized to suit Hollywood. The combat scenes are very accurate, but the one thing the film doesn't portray is the close bond between all the men that was forged from living through such daily dangerous missions.     Tons of inaccuracies!

    It's a good movie, don't get me wrong, but very misleading. Final target was not Bremen, it was Lorient, France...a milk run. The bomber made it back without a scratch on her, whereas in the movie she was shot to pieces. Granted, you have to do ce...rtain things in movies for them to be entertaining, but please do not take this one as history. Read more Less

    Whenever you have a great movie, which the Memphis Belle is, its greatness is compounded by the fact that this is not from some writer's imagination - this is a true story.

    I give this movie a 5 star rating. It is a very entertaining, action-packed movie. Even though it has a lot of action, it is not very gory, and the language is not too bad. I would give this movie two thumbs up!
