    Pros: Top notch graphics

Cons: Must have a decent graphics card

So you want to be an armchair general? be William the conqueror, Gengis Khan, Richard the Lionheart, its all here! Build your empire, build diplomatic relations, Assassinate or marry your rivals. Lay siege to all the great capitals in Europe using si...ege towers, rams, trebuchets, cannons and more. Lead your armies in a victorious march across Europe. Plays on windows XP and i,ve no problems with Windows Vista. You must have a fairly decent graphics card though. I can,t recommend this highly enough 10/10 Read more Less

    Great Battles no challenge

    By shine  Jun 1, 2007

Pros: Great Battles good Countries, and good map

Cons: Needs economics and more overall depth

This game had a great chance to be one of the greatest games of our time. But fell way short. The battles are the highlight of this game. AS long as u keep builing and conquering you are going to win. My brother and i beat the game on Hard as possile... with every faction. In 1 month. No challenge, very poor difficulty. Battle scenes here are great and i love the city ,castle and terrain on the map. But theres no diplomacy that means anything, no economics (beside build), no change in maps or in units. It was disappionting to just beat the game with not challenge. Total war needs to get really creative with economics, diplomacy, counties identity, larger maps, and really creative AI to make a legendary total war. Read more Less

Essentially two fully complete strategy games in one, you'll take a faction out of the dark ages, through the discovery of gunpowder, and even to the exploration of the new world, providing you with the chance to bring the Aztec lands into your empire, Cortez style.
