The script is just right for Bill Murray's big screen debut; it has interesting misfit characters that fit this misfit summer camp well, complete with the misfit gags.
(I can still recite the words to the Northstar CIT song done at the campfire!) ...

Pros: great string of one-shot jokes
Cons: no actual plot
No actual story line, just a bunch of things that happen as the movie progresses. I loved it! Although this movie was made years before my own experience as a summer camp staffer it's got enough truth to it to make it very funny. Bill Murray as Bill Murray good stuff.
