    Pros: At least it made it 3 years.

    Cons: High Cost, Maytag name led me to expect more.

    My MDG9700AWW began making a squeaking noise. Since it was out of warranty and an internet search clearly indicated that others have had no consideration after the 1-year warranty period, I disassembled the dryer myself and was amazed at the flimsy d...esign. The stainless tub is thin and has minimal structure such that it can be deformed easily, causing the felt seal to wear and allow the metal-to-metal contact that occurred. I had believed in the Maytag name before purchasing this washer/dryer and expected years of service out of it. If I seem to be an isolated fanatic, please do a web search on "mdg9700aww problems".
