I bought a Maytag dishwasher in July 2007. I have seen my repairman three times since then. I am still waiting for him to install the peice that broke in February. The 2 parts he replaced last year have broken, plus one more! I am still waiting for him to install the peice that broke in February. The problem is not with him, he has been great. He said he spends most of his time replacing these parts in Maytag dishwashers, that there is design flaw that Maytag does not want to correct.
Does Maytag stand behind their product you may wonder? We thought they would. This is what they do. They will continue fixing it for one year. After that I can fix it myself. They will not replace it, even though there is a documented design flaw in this model. ...
