    Pros: exterior looks nice

    Cons: a lemon

    Purchased dishwasher little over a year ago. Since we have little kids, we like that the control panel was on top of dishwash away from their inquisitive finger. About 5 months ago the control panel stopped working. Maytag had serviced and replaced c...ontrol pannel. Service tech. informed us that the control pannel malfunctioned due to the placement (being on top of the washer where the steam and moisture go). The replacement control panel went out again about a month ago, and the dishwasher know makes horrible loud sounds when washer. Also the rollers on the upper tray broke and so the tray is now unusable. After four emails to Maytag we finally got a response that there is nothing they will do since the one year warranty has expired. Seems odd since that they did not offer a new one year warranty on the replacement control panel. Based upon our experience with the product and the service we will not purchase a maytag product again. Read more Less

    Pros: Quiet

    Cons: Lots - mostly service

    I've had this for 2 years and have had:
    1. Broken top rack height adjuster (warranty).
    2. Broken Door Spring
    3. Broken spring cable latch
    4. Broken control panel.

    Repairs are costly and very often!
