Fans of Pearl Jam's music may want to invest in one of the historical interview CDs, and this is one of the many. The setup is simple, each track opens with a snippet of an audio interview with the band and then host Sian Jones describes a part of their career. There is actually some very interesting information here, and without a definitive Pearl Jam book available it is nice to have their history collected in oral form. This is definitely the Eddie Vedder show, with most of the information revolving around him. But since he has always been the group's spokesman, it is hard to focus on Dave Krusen. This has very little of the band on it, maybe 30 or so seconds, but there is still a lot of good information. Just to be warned, the history cuts off around 1997 or so, but this still packs a lot into those years.
