Maximo: Ghosts to Glory PlayStation 2

Bringing new life to a classic theme, Maximo: Ghosts to Glory is a 3D actionadventure inspired by Capcom's memorable Ghosts 'n Goblins, which came to life on countless NES and arcade machines through the mid80s. This 2001 release for the PS2 is designed with a similar blend of familiar fantasy storytelling and tongueincheek humor. In this adventure, the player guides the title character, a brave knight armed with shield, sword, and a hunger for vengeance, through a threedimensional medieval world full of dangerous creatures and lurking evil.

While Maximo was away crusading for justice, his seemingly faithful assistant Achille has unleashed destruction and despair across the once peaceful homeland. Four princesses have been captured and are being held in four towers across the land. Even worse, Maximo's own sweetie, the lovely Sophia, has been forced to marry to loathsome Achille. Matters are only made more difficult by the hordes of creepy monsters and relentless undead that now swarm across the countryside.
