#4 Clubbed to Death - Rob D.
There is another version of this track that
they played on Grooveradio.com a long time ago and it was PHATT! However I cannot remember the version or find it anywhere. It was faster and more techno/rave sounding. Any clues?
Can't find any Rob D. tracks/albums either....
The background music from scene of Neo & Morpheus fighting in the Sparring program is NOT on this Soundtrack NOR in the Score album either.
The famous "lobby scene" music is included, however, as the second track: Propellerheads' Spybreak! (Short One).
However, this soundtrack does have a good combination of rock and techno pieces that really complement each other and do well in supporting the movie--although the movie is more than suitable to stand alone.
Pretty good CD if you like rock. If you are buying this only for the music when morpheus and neo are fighting then dont! Because its not on here fewlz! Get over it! Buy it because its good!
1. Mindfields - Prodigy
2. Wake Up - Rage Against the Machine
3. Prime Audio Soup - Meat Beat Manifesto
4. Bad Blood - Ministry
It would still be pointless to buy this though. You would be far better off buying the albums that the above songs appear on, as they are all pretty much essential. The rest of this CD contains nothing but garbage (Deftones, Rob D etc.) and soft industrial rock poser crap (Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, Rammstein). Oh, and in response to the previous review, there is no Death Metal on the CD (thank god!). It's clear you don't know what Death Metal actually is, so let me fill you in: utter *
I bought this cd for one reason, for the music they play when Neo and Morpheus are fighting. Is it on the cd? NO!!! And why not? Because whoever produced this so-called soundtrack decided that it would be better to put a bunch of crap Death-Metal songs on here that you won't even remember from the movie. The point of a soundtrack is to include the music from the coolest parts of the film because these are the parts people watch over and over. One would expect the music from these parts to be on the cd, wouldn't one? Well, don't expect to find the Matrix music on the Matrix Soundtrack. You're better off just putting a tape recorder next to the TV and taping a soundtrack yourself. This CD is a joke, a $15 joke. If I had known what crap was on here, I never would have ordered it. How about releasing a real soundtrack, instead of this crap-a-thon of lame songs? With the exception of a few tracks, this soundtrack mostly sucks!!
a great soundtrack for a great movie. highly recommended!!!!!!!
It doesn't get any better than this. Just about every song is catchy and has a dark sound to it.
hi all i really want to do is just listen i heard the song on one of my skate movies i just want to check it out!
Upbeat and rockin', don't go without this soundtrack!
This soundtrack is the best. Everything except #1 is good. The Rage Against The Machine sang is the best, also the one by Rob Zombie.
GOOD GOD, there all good music, though ROck is dead is a very good song, dragula is even better =P
your an idiot track 1 is the best one
This was a really gud soundtrack, liked the diversity...especially liked track 4. Good thing to listen to!
this is amazing! great beats from known and not so know names
Some of the coolest music ever to go with the coolest movie ever! There are some f*cking excellent tracks here, including Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, RATM and the Propellerheads. This album is freakin' brilliant! BUY IT BUY IT BUY IT!!!
fghf hfgh fghfg gfhgfh ghgfh gfhhgf gf gf hhgfgh ghfgh hggf fhghhhhhhfgh gf hgffh fgh
From Metal to Electronic, this is one of the best soundtracks in the 90's. Marylin Manson and The Propellerheads steal camera here.
If you loved the movie liked I did, you'll love this album. It contains rockin' beats and pumpin' techno music that runs throughout the movie. Great album - I highly recommend this one!
