This is the second of two holiday album releases by Pete Levin and Danny Gottlieb. Comparisons to Mannheim Steamroller's Christmas albums are unavoidable, but that's not a bad thing. Masters in This Hall features nice new age-y renditions of Christmas favorites such as "Away in a Manger" and "Silent Night," plus several other holiday tunes, including the "Chanaukah Dance." Like the Mannheim Steamroller albums, this is great background music for holiday parties.
